Reading Inquiries

Do any of my fellow bloggers/friends have the book The DaVinci Code? Eric & I watched to movie on recorded TV the other night and I was intrigued. I was just wondering if anyone had the book so that I might dabble in reading it. Oh and if anyone has any other recommendations with a book that I might be interested in I would appreciate it.

I've actually started reading the classics (for the first time) recently. I just finished Jane Eyre and am now several chapters into The Count of Monte Cristo. I'm loving these books! Of course, there's always Jane Austen. You can never go wrong with any of her books!

Hey Teresa, yeah, I want to catch up w/ you and Melissa. I told Melissa sorry I missed yall. It was a CRAZY weekend and I spent most of the day Saturday helping Rebecca get ready for her big Halloween party and finally I was ready to get back to Derek. You know how feeding babies go...I had a small window to get back to houston before it was time for her to eat again. So yes, lets catch up during thanksgiving!

The book is much better than the movie - you should definitely read it. You could also read "Angels & Demons" which I believe is either the sequel to DaVinci Code or the prequel. That's pretty interesting as well.
I am a nerd and keep a huge spreadsheet of books I've read and want to read. I'll email it to you tomorrow.

Is the book Angels & Demons by the same author?

Yes it is. It was written by Dan Brown if i remember correctly. he wrote both. If you don't use moo's copy i want to read it before I start school and have nothing else to read but text books.

I love reading. Anytime you wanna come scour my bookshelves you're welcome.

I reccommend the book, Rebecca, by Daphne DuMaur. It's like Jane Austen only suspenseful. And, if you like non-fiction, I reccommend Angela's Ashes and 'Tis by Frank McCourt. And, also, a book that is FABULOUS is The Hiding Place by Cori Tin Boom (sp?). It's soooo good.
